Cash donations are essential for Safe Harbor’s continued operation. Your tax-deductible donation allows us to keep our services free as we assist families from crisis to a future free of violence. We also need many goods to provide to families and keep Safe Harbor operating.



Families receiving Safe Harbor services often need essential items. Your generous donation of material goods can help a family recover from abuse and violence or a survivor regain confidence after an attack. Below is a list of immediate needs to support Safe Harbor Crisis Center.

Safe Harbor Wish List:

  • Store Gift Cards (Target, Wal-Mart, Smiths, ShopKo, WinCo, etc.)
  • Forever Stamps
  • Canned goods and Pantry Staples (unexpired only, please)
  • Snacks for groups, especially kid's snacks like CapriSun, Fish Crackers, Fruit Snacks, Graham Crackers, Pretzels, esp. individual bags
  • Copy Paper including 11 x 14 size
  • Laundry Detergent and Dryer Sheets
  • Disinfecting Cleaners, such as Lysol
  • Paper plates and plastic utensils
  • Day planners (any size or style)
  • 2-pocket folders (Wal-Mart is cheapest)
  • Pajama, sweat pants, or yoga pants women’s (all sizes)
  • Clothing for children (ages 4 - 18)
  • Gas Cards, especially Smith's, Chevron, Philips 66, 7-Eleven, Maverik, Tesoro, and Sinclair
  • Women's bras and sports bras, all sizes
  • Volunteers
  • Garbage Bags (lawn & leaf size - 39 gallon or kitchen 13-gallon only, please)
  • Money for bills, gifts, etc.
  • White or colored t-shirts (women and children, all sizes)
  • Women's underpants (all sizes)
  • Full or Twin-sized sheet sets
  • Desitin, allergy medications, allergy cream, antibiotic ointment, melatonin, head cold and flu medications (night and day formulas)
  • Home Improvement Gift Cards (Home Depot, Ace, Lowe's, Bed, Bath & Beyond, etc)
  • Plastic wrap and aluminum foil

    Make your donation shopping easy! Safe Harbor maintains an Amazon Wish List stocked with essential items we often use in our work on behalf of children and families seeking support through our programs.

    Please bring your donations to Safe Harbor Crisis Center Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm or call 801-444-3191 for delivery address. Your donation is always tax-deductible and we will provide a receipt for your taxes.

    If you would like to donate baby blankets or infant clothing, we have very limited space. Canyon Heights High School, 801- 402-0550, always appreciates baby items. Our beds are all twin or full size only. Because of space constraints, we can only accept NEW items.
