Safe Harbor is the first and only domestic violence and sexual assault service provider in Davis County. Our mission is to help survivors through our 24/7 crisis hotline, advocacy services, therapy program, emergency shelter, transitional housing and housing assistance program. To prevent violence, we offer education, awareness, and resources to our community. Our services have been adapting to meet the needs of survivors since 1994. We envision all individuals empowered to live a life free of violence.

In a needs assessment performed by University of Utah in 2022, domestic violence survivors named housing in the top 5 needs for recovery. 1 in 4 homeless women have experienced domestic violence.

Safe Harbor offers up to 12 months of safe and affordable housing. During their stay, clients are connected to resources and support to rebuild their finances and begin their healing journey in preparation for a permanent housing solution. We are expanding this program with 14 additional homes. YOU can help prepare these new homes!

You can support the families moving into these homes by bringing household items, cleaning supplies, and gently used furniture to Young Automotive’s Stuff the Truck event!

Young Automotive and Sleep in Heavenly Peace will be building 30 beds for Safe Harbor’s new homes and collecting donations! Bring your family to support this project and enjoy face painting, balloon art, food, and games!

Date: Saturday, February 24th

Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Location: Young Automotive Group Headquarters 613 West 50 North, Layton, UT 84041

Bring in the coloring page to the event or dealership and be entered to win an Indian FTR Mini E Motorcycle! AND for every page turned in, $5 will be donated to Safe Harbor Crisis Center.

Support these survivors and their families moving into Safe Harbor’s Hope Housing program by bringing new household items, cleaning supplies and gently used furniture to Stuff the Truck!
