Did you know...

Every year approximately 80 Utah children witness the murder or attempted murder of their mother or that approximately 1 in 3 women in Utah will experience some form of sexual violence in her lifetime? But there are ways to help. You can volunteer in a variety of meaningful roles at Safe Harbor or donate to help support those in need. Or check out our Prevention Education page to learn what you can do.

One of our shelter volunteers also works with Days for Girls (www.daysforgirls.org/). She saw an opportunity to use this partnership to benefit the clients of Safe Harbor. Because of this project, we hope that is a choice clients accessing our services will not have to make. Thank you so much for volunteering your time in our shelter, and for going above and beyond in finding ways to support survivors of domestic abuse! ...
