Support for Youth
Did you know that teenagers in Utah experience sexual assault at a higher rate than any other age group?
Safe Harbor offers specific services to help teens and their families recover from abuse.
Families and friends impacted by a teen’s sexual assault are encouraged to read our Help for Family and Friends page.
Please note that Safe Harbor is a mandatory reporter if ongoing abuse of a minor is reported.
Crisis Support
Trained advocates can help teens deal with the complex needs and emotions that stem from experiencing sexual assault or rape.
We can also help if it was a friend who was assaulted and not you.
Call our Sexual Assault Advocates at 801-444-9161.
Sexual Assault Exams
Our team of Davis Forensic Nurses can conduct a sexual assault exam to help identify a survivor’s medical needs and collect evidence for future prosecution.
Our Crisis Response Advocates can be there to offer support and advocacy during the exam and connect you to advocacy services for ongoing recovery support.
Call our 24/7 hotline ASAP if these services are needed at 801-444-9161.
Teen Support Group (TSTAR)
We offer a group just for teens impacted by sexual assault.
